We have 87 rooms available at this motel located about half a mile from the party being held on Tuesday 06/24/03 at DAVID CHEVY.  There are

  1. 48 double double non smoking
  2. 20 double double smoking
  3. 13 king
  4. 06 double queens

ALL ROOMS ARE $65.00 for double occupancy and $10.00 for each additional adult UNDER 16 YOA stay FREE

There is ONE WHIRL POOL SUITE at $129.00 base on double occupany $10.00 additional for each adult.

There is also a continental breakfast included with rooms. 

There are sevaral other motels in the area. If we fill all these rooms we will attempt to contact other motels and secure rooms.  Or you may contact them and make your reservations seperately.

Rooms rates vary from $45.95 at Knights Inn to $75.38 at Holiday Inn Express.  All the motels are within a quarter mile of each other.  Cindy and I are at the Red Roof.  There are a few rooms left at $39.00 per room per one person, $5.00 additional for each other person.  We have stayed at this motel in the past with no problems

Reservations are your responsibility.  Mention that you will be a part of the WNY Caravan in 2003.  We have a block of rooms available at the RED ROOF INN at REASONABLE RATES. 

 

RESTAURANTS

There are about twenty restaurants around the motels.  They range from fast food, to carry out and family style.  We highly recommend Mehlman's Cafeteria.  They serve home cooked meals served cafeteria style, the prices are reasonable, and the food is good.

Located in Cave City about 25 miles north of Bowling Green on Interstate 86.  While this motel is located about 15 miles further away it only takes about 10 mins more to drive to the museum.  There are two routes to take one being the interstate the other being route 31W.  This route is a two lane county road, well maintained and a good cruise to and from the museum.   Cindy and I took this drive several times this last trip and recommend it to everyone.  The motel offers a swimming pool,  restaurant on site, and lots of other places to eat within walking distance.  They too serve a continental breakfast, however there is a breakfast room to sit and eat.  Rates will range from $79.00 for single queen bed for two people to $89.00  for two queen beds for two people per night.  There are four rooms with hot tubs for $125.00 per night.  I should say there are now THREE rooms with hot tubs.  Anyone interested can contact us and we will advise you how to make your reservations.
